Miscellaneous
Toilet Waste & Toilet Cassette Fluids
Waste from the amenity block is treated in our on-site Waste Treatment Plant. WTP’s contain internal filters & pumps & any blockage will cause the system to fail leading to the closure of the toilet block and toilet waste disposal point. It is therefore imperative that all customers ensure only human waste & toilet tissue is disposed of in the toilets & toilet cassette disposal point.
Any other waste (e.g. face wipes/toilet wipes) must ALWAYS be disposed of separately in the various receptacles on site. NEVER throw any such waste into the toilets.
In the interests of Health & Safety & to protect the environment & reduce our carbon footprint we closed our CDP (Chemical Disposal Point) in 2021. Accordingly, we cannot accept any BLUE toilet fluids (which are typically formaldehyde, a carcinogenic chemical, based) on site. ALL CUSTOMERS MUST USE 100% ORGANIC TOILET FLUIDS (typically green in colour) for which we have a dedicated disposal point.
Organic Toilet Cassette waste is also recycled on site into the same WTP. Blue Formaldehyde based must NOT, under any circumstances, be disposed of into our facility as the chemicals will kill the bacteria which break down the waste potentially leading to the system clogging up and groundwater pollution.
Pink toilet rinse is not accepted on site.
Customers can purchase Pro-Kleen Organic Toilet/Rinse fluid from Reception at extremely competitive prices.
On arrival we will ask you to demonstrate you do have the appropriate Organic Fluids & to confirm you do not have any blue fluids.
Any customer found to be disposing of Formaldehyde based chemical toilet waste will be asked to the leave the side immediately and may be held responsible for the cost of pumping out & cleaning our WTP.
Fresh Tap Water
Water is provided to ALL pitches & is supplied for its intended use only. The washing of bikes, vehicles, caravans & motorhomes is PROHIBITED.
If connecting a mains water pipe from the tap to your caravan/motorhome, please ENSURE there are NO LEAKS from the connectors. The supply to units with leaking connectors will be turned OFF by the Management.
Recycling/Waste Disposal
Recycling bins are provided. All paper, cardboard, aluminium cans, glass & rigid plastic must be correctly disposed of in the appropriate recycling bins & not in the General Waste (landfill) bins.
Please ensure only recyclable waste is deposited into the recycling bins. Non-recyclable waste & dog waste must be placed into the General Waste bin.
Guests/Visitors
As guests/visitors incur additional service costs we charge additional fees regardless of how long the guests/visitors stay on the park. Only visitors that have pre-booked & paid the additional fees are permitted on site
ALL visitors MUST report to reception on arrival & before entering the campsite.
Guests/visitors are NOT permitted to stay overnight
Guests/visitors must be aged 18+.

Disclaimers

Westgate Carr Farm Ltd cannot offer any compensation for any failure of the electricity or water supply, toilet/shower facilities & waste treatment plant (which may force closure of the amenity block). Whilst we will prioritise any repairs required this may be out of our control if specialist contractors are required.
Failure to comply with our Terms & Conditions/Site Rules MAY result in the termination of your holiday without refund.
If at any time, in our opinion, the conduct of any person (or pet) is considered to be detrimental to either ourselves, other customers or the environment they will be asked to leave the campsite with immediate effect & without any refund being payable.
