"This is our 3rd visit and definitely not our last.
This site feels completely remote and away from civilisation. Other guests are respectful of the site rules ensuring you experience nothing but peace and quiet.
The amenities block is spotless night and day. Hot water, pristine toilets, groovy music playing whilst you freshen up.
The welcome is so friendly, nothing is too much trouble."

"If you are looking for a idilic quiet location with lots of wildlife, Westgate Carr is ideal. Pickering is ok for a meal, bakery or coop stop. Moreover, it’s centrally located for a trip to the moors or the coast. Facilities are spotless with the hotel standard showers. Already booked our return."

"We have stayed at Westgate Carr Farm several times and already booked for later in the year and for next year. There is always a warm welcome and nothing is too muck trouble for Dave and Karen. There is also Josh on hand to assist if there are any repairs or general servicing requirements.
The site is well laid out with great amenities and a nice walking area. Pitches are serviced and are good sizes."

"Very well maintained site with large well spaced pitches.The owners made us feel very welcome. The mile loop walk around the farm, part of which is along the riverbank, was a nice addition. Ideal for spotting local wildlife. Loved seeing the alpacas too. Very tranquil site and ideal place for a chill out weekend. Amenities block was spotlessly clean. Showers nice and hot and although I would prefer non timed showers, considering the price paid for the pitch and the standard of facilities £1 was not unreasonable."

This is an amazing site all serviced pitches and adult only nothing is too much trouble for them, the site is very well looked after and well worth a visit. Looking forward to seeing you both on Sunday for a few more nights stay. Thank you."

"We had 3 lovely days at Westgate Carr Farm. Unfortunately it rained but as it was March not really unexpected. We didn't let it spoil it for ourselves or our labrador Ted. Spotlessly clean and so peaceful. But the highlight was the help we received from the owners /staff. Both Daves were fantastic as we are very inexperienced caravaners. Will definitely return (if they will have us)

"The best Farm based touring site I have stayed at in our Motorhome. Obviously it has not got as many facilities as a CCC or CMH site but in terms of standard it is as good .
What was particularly good is the layout ,roadways & really generous pitch size. Very Flat with everything at hand.
We stayed 17-19 Feb 2024 pity it wasn't Summer it would have been a great chill out site in Sunshine .
The hosts are very friendly & helpful particularly as I messed up the pay as u use electricity meter"

"What a lovely well maintained site. the views are great and we saw some lovely sunsets. the pitches are the biggest that we can remember and we have been caravanning for well over forty years. David and Karen are really helpful as is the person who helps them also called David. altogether a great stay on a great site."

"What a great campsite very quiet and well laid out first class facilities and very clean thanks to Dave Smith the owner for his help resealing my roof window he spent several hours fixing it for me this was very much appreciated as due to our age no way we could have done it ourselves we I’ll definitely be going back bonus was the new born alpaca."
