Les Touches can be reached in c 4.5 hours by car from Caen ferry port or c 7.5 hours from Calais. Alternatively you can fly to Poitiers, rent a car for the 45 minute onward journey. Otherwise Limoges airport is situated c 1.5 hours South East of Les Touches.
The gardens are a haven for wildlife, we have resident red squirrels, an array of birds including Bee Eaters & Hoopoes & Roe deer are often seen in the lower part of the garden stealing apples from the trees!
Cranes can be seen & most definitely heard overhead when migrating from Spain to Scandinavia & vice versa
Our French home is a wonderful, exclusive retreat offering a well deserved get-away-from-it-all holiday with the facilities of a larger village including banks, bars & supermarkets etc just over 1 mile distant!
